President
Garrett Smelker owns American Meridian, LLC and is a licensed professional land surveyor in nine states (TX, NM, OK, CO, AZ, UT, NV, ID, WY). He earned a degree in Surveying Engineering from New Mexico Sate University.
Chad R. Crawford, RLS, SIT
Vice President
Chad Crawford is a Survey Team Leader at Halff and has 26 years of experience. He is a Registered Land Surveyor (RLS) in the state of Arizona and RPLS in the state of Texas. He earned an Associate of Applied Sciences (AAS) degree in Land Surveying from Dallas College and is currently pursuing his Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Technology Surveying & Mapping from the University of Texas at Tyler.
Krystian Golebiewski, RPLS

Krystian Golebiewski is a member/partner at Brittain & Crawford, LLC. Krystian began his surveying career in Poland, where he graduated with a degree in Land Surveying and Property Appraisal from The University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn. He began his role at Brittain & Crawford, LLC as an AutoCAD specialist, analyzing survey data and managing the projects. He became licensed as an RPLS in 2012.

Alex Peebles, SIT
Second/Third Year Director
Alex Peebles is an SIT and has received his Certified Survey Technician III as well as his FAA Part 107 sUAS Remote Pilot Certification. Alex received his Associates Degree of Education in Surveying from the Dallas College. He is a proud third generation surveyor and Member of the National Society of Professional Surveyors.
Isaiah Gallegos, LSIT
First Year Director
Isaiah Gallegos is an LSIT (Licensed Surveyor In Training) working towards licensure as a professional land surveyor. He earned a degree in Surveying Engineering from New Mexico State University.
Cody Watson, RPLS
Second/Third Year Director
Cody Watson is a Survey Project Manager at Shield Engineering Group, PLLC. Beginning his career in 2008 as a High School intern at a civil engineering company where Cody worked both on the civil and survey side. Cody joined Shield Engineering in 2014 and since then has earned is Associates degree in GIS from Tarrant County College, becoming a licensed RPLS in 2023.

Danny Garrett is an AutoCAD technician at Brittain & Crawford, LLC. He is an SIT. Danny received his Construction Technology Surveying Certificate from Dallas College.

Jennifer Stanton Ortiz, RPLS
Second/Third Year Director
Mrs. Stanton Ortiz is a Registered Professional Land Surveyor, registered in the State of Texas. She has been working at Di Sciullo-Terry, Stanton & Associates, Inc since 2006 and has over fifteen years of experience related to Surveying and Civil Engineering. She has worked on the field crew, as a technician, and now is a Registered Professional Land
Surveyor.
